ACE Scholarships
Lisa Burke is an experienced accounting and administrative professional with a diverse background in nonprofit and educational organizations. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at ACE Scholarships since April 2023, Lisa previously held roles including Donor Database Supervisor and Gift Processing Specialist at the Denver Health Foundation from March 2022 to April 2023. Other notable positions include Database Manager/Development Assistant at the Community College of Denver Foundation, Specialist at Sharecare, Administrative Assistant at Twin Peaks Charter Academy, and various roles in development and administration at Colorado Christian University and St Francis Xavier Catholic School System. Lisa's career began as an Administrative Assistant at Regis University and included managerial responsibilities as the New England Regional Manager at Burke Associates. This extensive experience has equipped Lisa with strong skills in database management, donor relations, and financial oversight.

Our mission is to provide children of low-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12, and to advocate for expanded school choice. ACE is a Denver, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) founded in 2000. ACE has a direct impact in the lives of children from low-income families in Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Wyoming, Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas. Our vision is that every child will have equal access to a quality education.
