George Gavalas

George Gavalas is an accomplished EU ETS Controller at Ace Tankers since November 2023, with prior experience as an Operations Intern at McQuilling Partners, Inc., where responsibilities included handling voyages and assisting brokers. A background in the Greek Army adds to George's diverse skill set, along with experience as a Construction Specialist at Luna Park Sydney, where George worked on various events, and as an Examination Invigilator for Eurognosi SA during Cambridge Exams. Previously, at McQuilling Partners, Inc., as a Chartering Trainee, George focused on vessel positioning and maintaining accurate shipment records. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Shipping and Transport from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Shipping Transportation, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Plymouth.
