Wei Lu

Wei "Reed" Lu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Wei "Reed" is currently serving as the SVP of Asia Pacific Business at ACEINNA since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Hesai Technology for four years. During their tenure at Hesai, they held multiple roles including Vice President of Global Business Development (May 2021 - May 2022), Senior Director of Sales & BD (March 2019 - May 2021), and Director of Business Development (October 2017 - March 2019). Before joining Hesai Technology, Reed worked at Dresser-Rand - A Siemens Business for eight years. Their roles at Dresser-Rand included Team Leader and Senior Project Development Manager (June 2017 - October 2017), Project Development Manager (October 2013 - June 2017), and Engineering Management Acceleration Program Trainee (February 2009 - October 2013). Reed started their career as a Research Assistant at Penn State University (May 2008 - December 2008).

Wei "Reed" Lu completed the Ignite Program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics, at Penn State University from 2007 to 2009. Wei also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Mechatronics, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they briefly attended Purdue University for Mechanical Engineering but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, Wei obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the University at Buffalo, Center for Industrial Effectiveness in September 2009.
