Diego Sol is a Navigation Guidance and Controls Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories since September 2023. Previously, Diego served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University, instructing students in aerospace computation and active controls for aerospace vehicles, while also working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Intelligent Systems Research Laboratory. Diego's internship experience includes positions at AeroVironment, where flight and Monte-Carlo simulations were conducted, and the National Aerothermochemistry and Hypersonics Laboratory, focusing on plasma gasdynamics research. Diego holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and completed a study abroad program at the Universidade de São Paulo.
