Harp Andrew Amar has a long and varied work experience. Harp Andrew began their career in 1998 as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. Harp Andrew then moved to SG Barr Devlin in 1999 as an Investment Banking Analyst, where they specialized in the Power and Utilities sector. In 2003, Amar worked as a Summer Associate in Venture Capital at Prospect Capital Management. In 2005, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Associate, where they focused on M&A in the Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Chemicals and Transportation sectors. In 2008, Amar became a Principal Investments Executive at Klesch Group, where they were involved in principal investments in the Oil & Gas, Power, Metals, Chemicals, Transportation and Technology Hardware sectors. In 2010, they moved to Bank of America as a Vice President Investment Banking. In 2011, Amar joined Citi as a Director Investment Banking, where they were the lead coverage officer for Global Commodities Traders owning supply chain and infrastructure assets in Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Power, Agriculture, Transportation and Chemicals. In 2016, Amar became General Partner, Venture Capital at Puritas Capital. Finally, in 2017, they joined Acelerex as an Advisory Board, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, where they developed an operating system and data/analytics platform for the 21st century digital power grid.

Harp Andrew Amar received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University in 1999, a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University in 2004, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 2006.
