Alejandro Varela Rial

Alejandro Varela Rial is a Scientist and Software Developer at Acellera, where Alejandro has developed a pipeline that achieved top performance in three subchallenges of D3R Grand Challenge 4. Prior to their current role, Alejandro worked as a Research Fellow at PRBB, collaborating on developing a database and web interface. Additionally, Alejandro has experience as an Assistant Teacher at Academia Q7, teaching a Scratch programming language course to children. Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics for Health Science from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
