Carrie J. Harris, MBA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at ACENursing since September 2021. Prior to this role, Carrie was the CFO at Wallace Medical Concern from December 2017 to November 2020 and held a similar position at Palmetto Health Council, Inc. from October 2015 to September 2017. Carrie's earlier experience includes working as Controller at Stratmor Group from January 2013 to September 2015 and at Umetrics, Inc. from January 1999 to June 2006. Additionally, Carrie began a career at KPMG as a Senior Auditor from 1994 to 1998. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from William Paterson University of New Jersey.

Mission The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) supports the interests of nursing education, nursing practice, and the public by the functions of accreditation. Accreditation is a voluntary, peer-review, self-regulatory process by which non-governmental associations recognize educational institutions or programs that have been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for educational quality. Accreditation also assists in the further improvement of the institutions or programs as related to resources invested, processes followed, and results achieved. The monitoring of certificate, diploma, and degree offerings is tied closely to state examination and licensing rules and to the oversight of preparation for work in the profession.
