Hugo Alvarez

Hugo Alvarez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2018. Hugo began as a Marketing Communications Intern at Feeding America, where they gained valuable experience in the field. In the same year, they also worked as a College Mentor at DePaul University, assisting first-generation, low-income, and minority students in their transition to college.

In 2020, Hugo joined Gads Hill Center as an Executive Assistant and Special Projects Associate, showcasing their organizational and project management skills. Hugo also worked as a Mathematics Tutor and Student Mentor at Saga Education during this time, utilizing their expertise in math to support and guide students.

Hugo'smost recent position is with Acero Schools, where they have held various roles. Starting as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in 2021, Hugo then became a Special Education Apprentice, followed by an Office Coordinator. Presently, they are functioning as a Special Education Teacher, demonstrating their commitment to the field of education and their ability to adapt to different roles.

Hugo Alvarez pursued their higher education by first attending DePaul University from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising. Following their undergraduate studies, they then proceeded to Grand Canyon University where they completed a Master of Education degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from 2020 to 2022.
