Matias Romero

Matias Romero is an accomplished certification and consulting professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as the President and Founder of CONFICERT, Matias has been instrumental in establishing ACERTA, a specialized certification body for product standards, where Matias has held the position of Managing Director since June 2004. Prior to this, Matias was the CEO of Entidad Certificadora Alimentos de España from June 1998 to July 2003 and worked as the Technical Director at AYCIC Consulting from January 1994 to June 1998, focusing on engineering and consulting in food and beverage industries. Matias holds a degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has an educational background from Colegio Estudio in Madrid.
