Luuk Simons

Luuk Simons is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical sciences, currently serving as a Global Study Manager at Acerta Pharma B.V., a member of the AstraZeneca Group, since September 2020. Prior to this role, Luuk held positions at PPD, including Country Approval Associate and Project Assistant, where involvement in the global start-up of clinical studies was integral. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Maastricht University, complemented by research internships at University College Cork and Maastricht University, focusing on various aspects of human health and disease. Luuk also demonstrated leadership skills by organizing numerous activities as a member of the Social Committee at PPD.
