Franco Rachello

Franco Rachello has extensive experience in the steel industry, having served at Acerias de Colombia - ACESCO since June 1984 in various leadership roles, including Director of Projects and Director of the Lamination Unit. Responsibilities have included liaising with commercial and industrial operations to identify product and process improvement needs, designing and controlling production systems, and overseeing maintenance procedures for critical machinery. Prior to ACESCO, Franco Rachello worked as the Head of Maintenance for Flat Lamination at Acerias Paz del Rio from July 1981 to May 1984. Franco Rachello holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Machine Design from Universidad del Norte, earned in 2009, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Design from Universidad de Los Andes, completed in 1981.
