Torgeir Vaage

Torgeir Vaage has over 15 years of work experience in the financial sector. Torgeir began their career in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SantoSolve AS. In 2011, they became the CEO of HepMarin AS, where they were responsible for developing anticoagulant medicine from biological material from the aquaculture industry. Torgeir also founded C10 Pharma in 2011 and served as the CEO until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Initiator Pharma. Torgeir then moved to Acesion Pharma in 2018, where they held the same role. In 2019, they became the Chief Financial Officer of AQILION AB. Torgeir also served as a Board Member for Mentis Cura ehf in 2014 and as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of VoluSense in 2014.

Torgeir Vaage received their PhD in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 1993. Torgeir obtained their Siviløkonom degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 1989. Torgeir also attended Oppegård Videregående.
