Ryan MacKenzie

Ryan MacKenzie has over 19 years of work experience in the engineering industry. Ryan started their career at Federal-Mogul in June 2001 as an Applications Engineer Co-Op, where they gained practical experience in engineering applications. Ryan then moved on to become an FEA Analysis and CAD Engineering Design engineer in May 2003 and later promoted to a Product Development & Applications Engineer in June 2004. Ryan worked in Federal-Mogul until February 2008.

In March 2008, Ryan joined Achates Power as a Senior Development Engineer and Finite Element Analyst, where they were responsible for developing and analyzing finite element models. Ryan worked in this role until September 2015. In October 2015, they were promoted to Team Lead, overseeing a team of engineers and managing projects. Most recently, in April 2018, Ryan was appointed as the Chief Engineer and Program Manager for Technology Development at Achates Power, where they continue to lead technological advancements in the company.

Ryan MacKenzie completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit Mercy between 1999 and 2003. Ryan then pursued further studies and completed their Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the same university during the years 2003 and 2004.
