Kristin Brinner

Lead Engineer at Achieve Internet

Kristin Brinner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kristin started their career as a Graduate Student at the University of California, Berkeley in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Kristin then worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Chiron Corp from 2004 to 2006. After that, they served as an AAAS Fellow at the Department of Health and Human Services from 2006 to 2008.

Following this, Kristin worked as a Website Developer at Vesper9 from 2008 to 2010. Kristin then joined LOCUS New Media as a Developer and Project Manager from 2011 to 2012. In 2010, they also started working at James Street Associates as the Director of Web Services, a position they held until 2015.

In 2015, Kristin became a Drupal Developer at LevelTen Interactive, where they worked until 2018. During their time there, they also had a role as Lead Engineer at Achieve Internet from 2019 onwards. Additionally, they worked as a Contract Drupal Developer at Achieve Internet from 2017 to 2019.

In between, from 2012 to 2018, they founded their own company called Bevelsmith, where they built turnkey website solutions for picture frame stores using the Drupal platform. Lastly, from 2010 to 2018, they worked as a Partner at Rikuni, providing freelance web design and building services for small to medium-sized businesses.

Kristin Brinner earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Haverford College in 1997. Kristin went on to pursue their PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, completing it in 2004. In recent years, Kristin has also obtained certificates in Python Programming and JAVA Programming from UC San Diego Extended Studies in 2021 and 2018, respectively.
