Gao K. Thao

Gao K. Thao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, program management, and data evaluation. Currently serving as a Monitoring & Evaluation Data Specialist at Achieve Twin Cities since November 2022, Gao previously held the role of Assistant Director of TRIO ETS at Century College from March 2020 to November 2022. Further experience includes positions as a College & Career Coordinator at Genesys Works, Program Manager at Scholarship America, Right Track Job Coach for the City of Saint Paul, and Graduate Assistant at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additionally, Gao contributed to educational outreach as an AmeriCorps High School Coach, an English Teacher at Summerbridge Hong Kong, and held internships related to social work and basic needs support. Gao holds a Master of Science in Experiential Education and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato, along with a certificate in College Admission Counseling from Hamline University.
