Founded in 1940 as the Society for Crippled Children, we now serve children and adults with a broad range of disabilities and special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other physical and emotional challenges. 
Our unique, comprehensive service model weaves together therapy, intensive therapy, education and autism services, recreation, adapted sports and family support services to meet the needs of the entire family.  The agency serves individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on children from birth through age five. 
In Fiscal Year 2019-2020, many of the clients served by the Achievement Centers participated in or received multiple programs and services. Over the past year, the agency provided 194,201 service hours to more than 3,000​ individuals and their families.

The Office Support Team at Achievement Centers for Children comprises the Executive Assistant, Help Me Grow Program Manager, and Teaching Assistant. This team is responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating program activities, and providing essential support to both staff and clients. They ensure smooth daily operations, assist with program implementation, and facilitate communication across different sectors within the organization, thereby enabling the agency to focus on delivering comprehensive services to children and families with disabilities and special needs.
