Yona Chen

Yona Chen has over 15 years of experience in various roles related to localization and project management. Since 2019, Yona has been working as a Localization Manager at Achievers, where they are responsible for developing localization strategies and language roadmaps. They handle 28 languages and prepare technical readiness tests for right-to-left languages. Prior to this, Yona worked at Huawei, starting in 2004. In their roles at Huawei, Yona served as a Technical Cooperation Manager, Globalization Project Manager, Huawei's representative of Unicode, Localization Project Manager, Localization Department Manager, and Translator and Team Lead. These roles spanned from 2004 to 2018 and involved managing localization projects, coordinating technical cooperation, and representing Huawei in regards to Unicode.

Yona Chen obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Nankai University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Yona has obtained certifications in "Communicating Across Cultures" and "Communicating In the Language of Leadership" from LinkedIn, in April 2020.
