Khalisa Jacobs

Khalisa Jacobs has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 26 years. Khalisa most recently worked at Achieving the Dream as the Chief of Staff, a position they held since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Development at Achieving the Dream starting in July 2018. Before joining Achieving the Dream, Khalisa held various roles at different organizations, including Break the Cycle as the Senior Director of Development and Communications, Year Up as the Senior Director of Development, the National Peace Corps Association as the Director of Development, and Population Services International as the Manager of Major Gifts. Khalisa also had experience at the University of Virginia as a Major Gifts Officer, Georgetown University as an Assistant Director of Major Gifts, and Gator Boosters, Inc., University of Florida, where they started their career as an intern.

Khalisa Jacobs obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Florida, completing their studies between 1997 and 1999.
