Terri Manning, Ed.D., is a seasoned expert in higher education with extensive experience in institutional research and data-driven practices. Currently serving as a Data Coach for Achieving the Dream since June 2018, Manning also works as a Higher Education Consultant for the Charlotte NC Region. Since January 1998, Manning has held multiple leadership roles at Central Piedmont Community College, including Associate Vice President for Information Technology and Research Services and Associate Vice President for Institutional Research, overseeing the Center for Applied Research, a unique self-sustaining research center in the community college sector. Prior to this, Manning was an Assistant Professor of Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina Charlotte from 1990 to 1997, focusing on research methods, program planning, and evaluation. Educational credentials include an Ed.D. in Higher Education with an emphasis in Health Behavior and an MS in Health Science from Oklahoma State University, along with a BA in Foreign Language from the University of Oklahoma.
