Becki Pike has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology and translational science. Becki started their career as a PhD student at NIMR, where they focused on investigating immune responses to retroviral infection. During this time, they gained expertise in immunology and related techniques.
After completing their PhD, Becki worked as a Research Assistant at University College London, where they conducted flow cytometry assays and processed human blood samples for a clinical trial. Becki also played a role in assay development and flow cytometry data analysis.
Following their time at University College London, Becki moved on to Queen Mary University of London, where they served as the Flow Cytometry Facility Manager. Becki'sresponsibilities included managing the facility and coordinating flow cytometry-related activities for Bart's Cancer Institute and William Harvey Research Institute.
Currently, Becki is employed at Achilles Therapeutics plc, where they have held various positions including Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, Team Leader Translational Science Operations, and Head of Translational Science Operations. Becki'scurrent role is Director of R&D Operations.
Becki Pike earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology and Molecular Pathology from UCL.
