Matthijs Dries

Matthijs Dries currently serves as Manager Data & Analytics in Debiteurenmanagement & Betalingsverkeer at Achmea, having transitioned from a role as Data Scientist, where Matthijs focused on relevant analyses and the development of predictive models to enhance operational processes and data-driven decision-making. Prior experience includes a PhD in astronomy from the University of Groningen, where Matthijs developed a statistical model for analyzing distant galaxies, alongside involvement in teaching astronomy to high school students through a mobile planetarium.
