Vincent Steenbergen

Vincent Steenbergen currently serves as a (Group) Information Security Officer at Achmea since September 2023, focusing on Compliance Strategy & Transformation and Group Business Continuity Management. Previously, Vincent held the role of Information Security Officer at Rijksoverheid from April 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing staff awareness of information security and translating frameworks into concrete security measures. Vincent has also worked as an adviser in integrated security and as an IT auditor/consultant at AuditConnect b.v., engaging in compliance audits and implementation projects. Additional experience includes consulting on IT security projects at Traxion and conducting research on Identity and Access Management during an internship at VMI Group. Vincent holds a Bachelor's degree in Security Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing a Compliance Professional program at the Nederlands Compliance Instituut.
