Jeff Danis has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jeff started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University in 2010, where they collected and analyzed results of parallelized programs. Jeff then worked as a Course Development Student Worker at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, maintaining and updating the Learning Management System for distance/online courses.
In 2011, Jeff joined RedCandy Games LLC as a Programmer, where they contributed to the development of new properties on PC, mobile, and console platforms. Jeff also played a key role in shipping the debut Xbox title "TIC:Part1" in June 2011.
Jeff also had an internship at International Business Machines in 2011 as a Burn In Intern, where they evaluated the use of power headers at Burn-In and analyzed thermal profiles.
From 2012 to 2013, Jeff worked as a Product Engineer Intern at Cypress Semiconductor, gaining valuable experience in the field. Jeff then joined Oracle in 2013 as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where they focused on Design for Test (DFT) work on various SPARC microprocessors, utilizing ATPG, MacroTest, and BI pattern generation methodologies.
In 2014, Jeff co-founded TrinityVR, where they served as the Chief of Hardware. Jeff played a significant role in the company until its end in 2020.
Finally, Jeff joined Achronix Semiconductor Corporation in 2017 as a Senior Hardware Engineer, contributing to the verification, validation, and bring-up of Speedcore eFPGA and Speedster7t FPGA devices. Jeff was later promoted to Staff Engineer, where they co-wrote test plans, automated and optimized test flows, and debugged silicon failures. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Manager at the company.
From 2008 to 2012, Jeff Danis attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During this time, they pursued a dual degree in M.E/Dual B.S., with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Computer & Systems Engineering. Jeff also completed a minor in Management in Technology.
