Chris Nicol is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in collaborative solutions development, primarily at SMART Technologies since July 2010. In this role, Chris has been instrumental in creating hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer at the same company, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tool development. Other notable positions include Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for forestry equipment. Chris also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
