Yael Segev

Yael Segev has a diverse work experience in the field of literature and education. yael has been the Head of the Literature Department at Achva Academic College since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Orot Academic College of Education as a Teacher and Researcher of Children's Literature starting from September 2009. In this role, they conducted research on children's literature and focused on literature teaching methods used in the religious public education system in Israel. yael also trained school and pre-school teachers in continuing education programs on new literature teaching methods. Before that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Orot College, Ministry of Education, from September 2006 to October 2019.

Yael Segev obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Comparative Literature from Bar-Ilan University. yael pursued their doctoral studies at Bar-Ilan University from 1997 to 2016.
