Cándido Arregui Hernández

Cándido Arregui Hernández has extensive experience in information security, with a long tenure at Aena from January 2002 to June 2021, where roles included Information Security Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. Cándido also served as an Information Systems Coordinator during this time. Currently, Cándido is a member of the Cyber Security Committee at ACI EUROPE since January 2025. In addition to industry experience, Cándido has an academic background that includes work as a researcher and associate lecturer at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from December 2011 to October 2015. Cándido holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering and an Aeronautical Technical Engineering degree focused on airports, both obtained from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
