Ryan Gumienny

Ryan Gumienny has a diverse work experience in the fields of design and business development. Ryan began their career as a Furniture Craftsman and Designer, working for Icon Design & Wendell Castle Collection. Ryan then transitioned to the role of an Industrial Designer at Libra Pacific before joining Four Star Distribution as a Footwear Designer and Developer.

In 2012, Ryan joined TOMS, where they held multiple roles such as Senior Men's Product Line Manager, Creative Direction, Senior Footwear Designer, Product Line Manager, Footwear Development Manager, and Giving Development Manager. During their time at TOMS, they curated and built product assortments, led the end-to-end design process, and contributed to the company's giving program.

Ryan's next venture was with Sanuk (Deckers Outdoor Corporation) as a Senior Product Line Manager. Ryan oversaw the design of footwear ranges and led the design and product development teams. Ryan took ownership of the $50 million sandals and closed-toe business.

In 2016, Ryan co-founded COMUNITY LLC, a local footwear company focused on crafting premium shoes locally and fostering community growth. Ryan served as the Co-Founder, Head of Design & Business Development, demonstrating expertise in entrepreneurial leadership.

Ryan's most recent role is at ACI International as the Senior Design Director, Footwear. Ryan strategizes and executes the redesign of the seasonal product calendar, pioneers new categories within the business, and expands the client base.
