Dana Hankey has a diverse work experience in the materials industry. Dana started their career at Sandia National Laboratories as a Staff Scientist in Electronic Warfare from 1980 to 1982. Dana then worked at Heraeus Electronics as a Research Director in the Electronic Materials Division from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they joined Ferro Corporation as the General Manager of the Electronic Materials Division from 1986 to 1998. Dana then served as the Chief Executive Officer of Superior MicroPowders, where they developed aerosol platform technology for producing fine powders for industrial applications, from 1998 to 2000. Afterwards, they were the CTO/Chairman of Wuxi Calex Science and Technology USA, where they managed R&D laboratories and developed solar inks and pastes for the crystalline solar cell market from 2010 to 2012. Dana also founded Technology Business Development, LLC and served as its President from 2000 to 2013. Dana is currently the CEO/President of ACI Materials, a specialty materials company that manufactures inks, paints, and adhesives for various industries.
Dana Hankey obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University during the years 1977 to 1980. In addition, Dana also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University, although it is unclear when this degree was obtained.
