Nhu Thai

Nhu Thai has extensive work experience in the legal field. They are currently the Head of Legal & Integrity and Compliance for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region at ACINO, a leading Swiss pharmaceutical company. In this role, Nhu Thai is responsible for building and leading the Legal & Compliance department, as well as providing support to all markets in the region. Prior to ACINO, they worked at PepsiCo as the Legal Director for the Africa, Middle East, and South Asia region, overseeing legal services for multiple business units. Before that, Nhu Thai was the Senior Legal Counsel at Nakheel, a retail division of a real estate firm, where they managed company litigation and provided strategic insights to enhance profitability. They also worked as a Solicitor at Coles Group Limited, advising on commercial business matters, and as a Senior Associate at Maddocks Lawyers, handling corporate legal affairs for high-profile clients. Nhu Thai has demonstrated expertise in drafting legal documents, negotiating deals, and providing strategic solutions.

Nhu Thai attended Harvard Law School and completed an Executive Education program in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Deakin University. They also completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Accounting at Deakin University. Additionally, Nhu Thai has obtained a license to practice law in Victoria, Australia from the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner.
