James (Jim) Lindgren is an experienced electrical design technician with a career spanning several decades in the medical technology field. Since October 2001, Jim has been with ACIST Medical Systems, advancing through positions from Senior Electrical Design Technician to Senior Principal Electrical Design Technician. Prior to this, Jim co-founded Lindgren Design Services and served as a partner from 2002 to 2021. Jim's early career includes roles as an R&D Associate Engineer at St. Croix Medical and an R&D Engineer I at Mallinckrodt Inc. Additionally, Jim held positions as a Senior R&D Electrical Technician at Aequitron Medical and an R&D Electronic Technician at Systec Engineering Inc. Jim's foundational experience began in the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command as an Aviation (CNI) Electronics Technician. Jim holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from the Minnesota School of Business/ITT Technical Institute.
