Omar Carazo Torres

Omar Carazo Torres is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Service Manager at Ackcent since February 2016, specializing in CISO as a Service and consultancy in PCI DSS, ISO, NIST, and ENS methodologies. Previously, Omar worked at PwC España as a Supervisor in Technological Risks, where involvement in various PCI DSS projects and conducting audits on web and infrastructure were key responsibilities. Prior roles include Ethical Hacking and Vulnerability Assessment at Incita Security, where Omar coordinated a team and executed security audits, and a Consultant role at esCERT-UPC, contributing to European security projects and national initiatives related to online banking security. Earlier in their career, Omar was a programmer at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, developing an online tool for managing academic procedures. Omar holds a Master's Degree in ICT Security from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Technical Engineering Degree in Computer Systems from FIB - UPC.
