Ellen Fader has been a dedicated psychotherapist since 1998, operating a full-time private practice focused on individuals, couples, and families. Current roles include clinical affiliate with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and family therapist at the Ackerman Institute's Center for Families and Health, which addresses the impact of illness on families. Ellen previously served as a director of mental health programs at Safe Horizon, Inc., assisting individuals affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and has extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
