Katherine Kumthekar

Katherine Kumthekar is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in social work and counseling across various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a trainee at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and as a mental health therapist at Directions Counseling Group since May 2021, Katherine previously held positions as a psychiatric social worker at Children's National Health System from October 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included conducting psychiatric evaluations and coordinating multidisciplinary care for children and adolescents.
