Ackerman Institute for the Family
Mario Ismael Espinoza, LCSW, is an experienced clinical social worker and certified Pilates instructor with a diverse background in performing arts. Currently serving as a Clinic Therapist at the Ackerman Institute for the Family since August 2022 and as a Clinical Social Worker at The Actors Fund since June 2019, Mario also fulfills the role of Dancers' Resource Social Worker. Additionally, Mario has been a Certified Pilates Instructor at multiple studios, including Real Pilates, Pilates Challenge, and SIXTH STREET PILATES, INC., since March 2015. With a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance from the University of California, Irvine, Mario brings a unique blend of creative and therapeutic skills to the field. Prior experience includes dance performances with Ballet Hispanico and ODC/Dance, along with a role as a Pilates Instructor at Absolute Center.
