Alessandra Heinen has a wealth of experience in the marketing and communications field. Alessandra began their career in 2006 as an Intern at Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications, where they assembled marketing portfolios of hotels in the Caribbean for distribution to prospective clients and managed telephone calls and reception. In 2007, they took on the role of Manager at DeMaria's Designer Salads, where they worked as a cashier, took orders and prepared food, and opened and closed the restaurant. In 2009, they were an Intern at Jellinek Minnesota, where they researched and analyzed online advertising and marketing for addiction clinic competitors, assessed opportunities for increased awareness and market expansion, and recommended potential marketing strategies. In 2011, they were an Intern at Diamond Public Relations, where they designed social media marketing promotions to draw traffic and increase user engagement, developed competitive analysis to assess company and client social media standing, and organized and maintained social media platforms. In 2012, they were a Social and Business Relations Manager at Elite Island Resorts, where they managed 32 social media accounts across 4 platforms, created price charts to assess rate parity across e-Commerce sites, and organized press and media releases. In 2013, they were a Marketing Assistant at Athena Marketing. Finally, in 2015, they joined akdm as an Associate Director, Media Strategy, and then progressed to Senior Manager, Paid Media, Manager, Paid Search & Biddable Media, Senior Strategist, Paid Search & Biddable Media, and Strategist, Paid Search & Biddable Media.

Alessandra Heinen attended The George Washington University School of Business from 2008 to 2012, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business and Marketing. Prior to that, they attended University School of Nova Southeastern University from 1995 to 2008, where they received their High School Diploma.
