Farrah Uphoff, MA, MS, CGC, is a Laboratory Genetic Counselor at ACL Laboratories since January 2023, bringing a strong background in genetic counseling from graduate studies at Boise State University. Prior clinical rotations include pediatrics, prenatal genetic counseling, ocular genetic counseling services, and cancer genetic counseling across various esteemed institutions. Farrah also possesses extensive experience in education as an adjunct instructor at Mid-State Technical College and as an assistant volleyball coach at Marshfield High School and Middle School. Earlier research contributions at Mayo Clinic focused on hypertension and prostate cancer, employing techniques such as SNP genotyping and laser capture microdissection. Farrah Uphoff holds a Master’s in Genetic Counseling from Boise State University, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular/Cellular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
