Katelin Jones

Director, Specimen Processing And Core Laboratory at ACL Laboratories, Inc.

Katelin Jones has over a decade of work experience in the healthcare industry. Katelin started their career in 2011 as a Lab Assistant at OSF HealthCare, where they worked until June 2012. In July 2012, they joined ACL Laboratories as a Medical Technologist and held that role until December 2015. Katelin then took on the position of Technical Specialist at ACL Laboratories from December 2015 to May 2019. From May 2019 to May 2022, they were a Supervisor at ACL Laboratories. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Specimen Processing and Core Laboratory at ACL Laboratories, a position they assumed in May 2022.

Katelin Jones has a diverse education history. Katelin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Eastern Illinois University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Katelin attended the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center School of Clinical Laboratory Science from 2011 to 2012, where they completed a Certification of program Completion in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. In 2012, they also obtained the Medical Laboratory Scientist certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Continuing their educational journey, Katelin is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they expect to complete in 2024. In 2018, they also earned the Specialist in Chemistry certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
