Michael Weber

Michael Weber is an accomplished executive with a robust background in strategy, product management, and innovation within the chemical and analytical sectors. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director of Innovation and Product Management at ACLARIS GmbH since July 2017, Michael leads R&D, business development, and sales initiatives. Prior experience includes a freelance sabbatical focused on consulting for SMEs and significant roles at Sigma-Aldrich, where responsibilities encompassed global leadership of a USD 190M laboratory chemicals business segment. Earlier positions at EMPA as Head of Chemical Metrology and academic qualifications include an executive MBA from the University of St.Gallen and a Master's and PhD in Chemistry from ETH Zürich.
