Vorleak Chhim

Vorleak CHHIM has a strong background in information technology and data security. They started their career as a Staff of Information Technology at ACLEDA Bank Plc. in November 2007. After that, they held various roles within the company, including Programmer of Core Banking Unit, AVP & AM of Database Administration, Manager of Database Administrator, and Senior Database Security Management Specialist. They then became the Head of System Security and Access Control Department from July 2018 to January 2019, followed by being the Head of Network Security & Data Protection Department until January 2020. Vorleak CHHIM is currently serving as the Head of Data Protection Department in the same company. Additionally, they volunteered with AllWeb as a Volunteer On Website Company from April 2007 to November 2007.

Vorleak CHHIM has a diverse education history. In 1997, they completed their high school education at Samdach Ouv High School, focusing on general education. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Following this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from the Institute of Foreign Language (IFL) between 2004 and 2008. They furthered their education at the National University of Management (NUM) from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a Master's degree in Finance. In recent years, they have focused on certifications in various fields. Starting in 2018, they completed the ISMS Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001:2013 program. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a program in Cyber Security, specifically RCCE-Level1, from Condition Zebra in Malaysia. In 2022, they attended Koenig-Solutions-India to study ISO 22301 (BCMS) lead implementation. Additionally, they attended DPEX-Singapore in the same year for a program on Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/A).
