Johana Mejia

Johana Mejia is currently an Activist Leader at ACLU of Florida, where Johana educates college students and immigrants about constitutional rights and leads the Detention Adovacay Volunteer team. Previously, Johana held roles such as Congressional Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, Civic Scholar Researcher at Bob Graham Center for Public Service, and Legal Assistant Intern at Beckham Solis Attorney Office. Johana is a UM Summer Legal Academy Scholar and holds degrees in Criminology, Sociology, and Anthropology.
