Lorena Diaz is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in community engagement and advocacy. Currently serving as a Strategist at the ACLU of Maryland since 2020, Diaz previously held the position of Lead Bilingual Outreach Specialist at House of Ruth Maryland from November 2018 to January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Community Organizer at CASA de Maryland, a Community Liaison for Delegate Alonzo Washington at the Maryland General Assembly, and various positions at the University of Maryland, including Office Assistant, Resident Assistant, and Community Assistant. Diaz holds a degree from the University of Maryland, where education was completed from 2011 to 2015, and also graduated from Northeast Senior High School in 2011.
