ACLU of Massachusetts
Debra Thomas is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in non-profit governance and community development. Serving on the Board of Directors at the Center for Women & Enterprise since July 2008, Debra chairs both the Resource Development Committee and the Gala Committee, successfully raising approximately $250K annually while supporting strategic revenue initiatives. In addition, Debra volunteered as a Director, creating a robust volunteer program recognized with the 2012 Volunteer of the Year award. Debra's leadership roles extend to Harborlight Montessori School, where responsibilities included chairing the Inclusivity Committee and leading the Board of Trustees through a significant merger. Legal expertise was gained at IBM and Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, following degrees from New York University School of Law and Dartmouth College.
