Olivia Neal is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in grant writing, marketing, and digital content management. Currently serving as a Communications Strategist at the ACLU of North Carolina since May 2022, Olivia previously held the position of Grant Writer Coordinator at Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, where responsibilities included writing and submitting grant applications and performing research for funding opportunities. Demonstrating a commitment to advocacy and women's issues, Olivia also contributed as a Print Editor for UNC Siren, a feminist literary magazine, and worked in various marketing and social media roles, including Chief Marketing Officer at The Meantime Coffee Co. and social media coordinator for the NYU LGBTQ Student Center. Olivia earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women's and Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attended NYU Gallatin prior to that.
