Nicolas Hidalgo is a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU of Northern California, where involvement began in January 2023, focusing on technology and civil liberties. Prior to this role, Hidalgo served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Corporate Fraud Section of the California Department of Justice from December 2021 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes multiple positions at Jones Day, starting as a Summer Associate in 2014 and culminating as an Associate from October 2016 to June 2021. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and History from Indiana University Bloomington. Additional early roles included law clerk, research assistant, lab technician, and resident assistant.
