Andrew Hendrickson is a seasoned government relations professional with extensive experience in legislative roles. Currently serving as the Government Relations Coordinator at the ACLU of Texas since June 2022, Andrew previously held positions at the Texas Senate as a Staff Attorney and Legislative Aide from November 2017 to November 2021. Andrew's early career includes significant contributions as the Legislative Director, Director of Community Affairs, and Community Liaison for New York State Assemblymember Brian Kavanagh from March 2014 to August 2017. Andrew holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Brooklyn Law School, earned between 2010 and 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Human Rights and Literature from Bard College, completed in 2009.
