Nichelle S. Carr

Nichelle S. Carr is a prominent legal and creative professional currently serving as Lead Product Counsel for Generative AI projects at Pinterest since 2023. Carr has extensive experience in leadership roles, including serving as an Affiliate Equity Officer and Board Secretary for the ACLU SoCal, where work emphasizes racial justice and fundamental rights. Additionally, Carr is the founder of WC1 Studios, which produces award-winning content and has received multiple Webby Awards. As Chair Emerita of the Board of Directors for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award USA, Carr supports youth development. Previous roles include Chief Content Officer at AudPop, Vice President at Focus Features, and Senior Counsel at SEGA Europe Limited, among others. Carr holds a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and an AB in Law, Jurisprudence & Social Thought, and Black Studies from Amherst College.
