Victor Leung is a seasoned legal and advocacy professional currently serving as the Chief Legal and Advocacy Officer at ACLU SoCal since September 2009. In this role, Victor leads a strategic program encompassing litigation, legislation, community engagement, and policy advocacy, managing over 60 staff members. Previous positions include Director of Education Equity, Deputy Director of Advocacy and Deputy Litigation Director, and Staff Attorney, where Victor focused on K-12 education and juvenile rights. Additionally, Victor has taught as a Lecturer in Law at UCLA and is a member of the Board of Directors for both the Social Justice Learning Institute and ACLU SoCal. Victor's earlier experience includes practicing complex litigation at Latham & Watkins. Victor holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies with a minor in Sociology from Pomona College.
