Alex Brown currently serves as the Smart Justice Leader at the ACLU since August 2019 and is involved with Dream Corps as part of the Empathy Network Advocacy Cohort since June 2022. In addition, Alex is a Behavior Technician at the Center for Children with Special Needs starting November 2023. Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Central Connecticut State University and is pursuing a Master of Social Work with a focus on Community Organization and Advocacy at the University of Connecticut, expected to complete in April 2025. Furthermore, Alex is a BPI Public Health Fellow at Bard College since December 2022.
