Anu Joshi

Anu Joshi is a seasoned advocate in immigration policy with a robust background in campaign management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the National Campaigns Director for Immigration at ACLU since March 2022, Anu has also held the position of Deputy Director in the Equality Division. Prior to joining ACLU, Anu was the Vice President of Policy and Senior Director of Immigration Policy at the New York Immigration Coalition from July 2017 to February 2022, focusing on significant policy initiatives impacting immigrants at local, state, and federal levels. Anu's prior experience includes leadership roles at the New York State Immigrant Action Fund, Center for New Community, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, among others. Anu earned a Master's degree in Social Welfare and a BA in Social Welfare & Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
