Arlete Reyes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in legal and policy advocacy, currently serving as an Assistant in the National Political Advocacy Department at the ACLU since April 2022 and as a member of the Young Professional Board at the Urban Justice Center since March 2024. Previous roles include Legal Assistant II at the Law Office of Robert B. Jobe, Policy Intern at the First 5 Association of California, and Research Apprentice at the Human Rights Center, UC Berkeley School of Law, among others. Notably, Arlete led a team at Cal ACLU to advocate for immigrant rights, provided college advising for low-income students at the East Bay Consortium, and contributed to critical research at organizations focused on gun violence and children's welfare.
